    A new national asset was launched in Cape Town on 1 December 2017 – SAPRIN.  This DST/MRC South African Population Research Infrastructure Network will generate high-quality evidence to inform interventions aimed at responding to some of South Africa’s biggest issues which include poverty, inequality, unemployment and poor access to effective health care, was launched in Cape Town today.  The three existing HDSS sites in South Africa currently make up SAPRIN which plans to expand by building 4 new HDSS sites across South Africa.  Read the press release, watch this video and read more on this website.
