Induna Khoza from Croquet Lawn village receiving his sanitiser and spray bottle

Given the need for adhering to COVID-19 regulations, the indunas in our villages are having to ensure that people have access to sanitizer and hand washing facilities at funerals. Public Engagement Officer, Simon Khoza, decided that a meaningful contribution for Mandela Day would be to provide the induna of each village in the Agincourt HDSS with 5l of sanitizer and a spray, along with a reminder that hand washing is more effective than sanitizer, and a fact sheet about how to make a tippy tap out of the empty container. We wonder if we might begin to see tippy taps in the graveyards?
