With the increased numbers of cohorts in the Agincourt HDSS research site, we are trying out new retention techniques. For the Swa Koteka project, where young women come on Saturdays and Sundays to attend data collection camps in the Agincourt main offices and laboratory, we find that the young women really enjoy having music during the day, reading educational materials from Soul City and – painting their nails!
